Grow

The second part of our mission is “Growing in Christ.”  In this second part of the mission we seek to bring those who have put their faith in Christ into a deeper understanding of who God is and who God has called them to be.  We do this in many different ways but primarily we do it through Sunday School, Youth Group, Awana, Church Fellowship Groups and one on one discipleship.

Sunday School

The Bible encourages believers to not neglect meeting together, and Sunday School is a great way to come together and get to know people in the church. It is a time to minister to every age group in such a way that applies to their specific season of life so they may grow to be more like their Savior. Sunday School begins at 9:00am.

Sunday: 9:00am - 10:00am
Ages: 0+

Youth

Our youth group is a great way for teenagers to be equipped to engage their culture with the Gospel.  Youth are encouraged to bring their friends and enjoy a time of games, music, as well as learning biblical principles that will help shape them into the image of Christ.  Youth group begins every Wednesday night at 6:45pm.

Wednesday: 6:45pm - 8:15pm.
Ages: 13-18

AWANA

Our church has served kids faithfully for over 60 years through AWANA. It is a great program where kids have fun and are motivated to memorize scripture and apply it to their life. It truly is amazing how this program is so successful in hiding God’s word in the hearts of our children.

Wednesday: 6:30pm - 8:15pm
Ages: 3yrs-8th grade

Church Fellowship Groups (CFG)

Church Fellowship Groups were created with the intention of being a place where Riverside members can meet with each other for a time of fellowship and Bible study.  These groups typically meet on the third Sunday of the month, but some groups choose to meet on a more frequent basis.  If you’d like to be connected to a group, please contact the church office and we will put you in contact with a CFG leader.

Day/Time: 3rd Sunday of Every Month
Ages: 18+

Discipleship

One way we intentionally disciple people is to provide one on one or small group discipleship. This is a great opportunity to have close relationship with another believer, experience accountability, and be equipped to better invest in others. Anyone who would like to be discipled or anyone who becomes a new member will be discipled by either a Pastor or one of our leaders here at Riverside.
